  • Gun's of The Pioneers
  • Rex Macbeth loved guns of the Old West and the history and lore that accompanied them. His "Guns of the Pioneers" shop in Mankato MN was his dream. This past summer, Rex died of leukemia. He had planned his funeral, right down to the garments his pallbearers, and wife, Rosie, would wear. His knowledge of the James Gang, and their last raid in Northfield MN was the catalyst for the chapter in "The Search for Corporal Dow" about history and antique firearms in the authors' own "back yard". We will always be greatful to Rex and Rosie for their friendship and enthusiasm.

Read about Rex's museum and his unique and colorful memorial service at this site.

  • Westerner's Outfitters - Purveyors of Old West accessories, clothing, gifts, etc
  • As a member of the “Wild Bunch" and co-founder of SASS, co-founder of the High Sierra Shoot in Northern California, first Territorial Governor for the Panhandle Regulators in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and a major presenter of the SASS Northwest Regional," The Great Northern”, Wes Terner and his wife have participated heavily in the tremendous growth of this fabulous family sport. The family has been operating their business to bring an excellent selection of viable western and Victorian items at reasonable cost to the many wonderful people they have met along the trail. They also contributed a chapter (#7) to "The Search for Corporal Dow".
